1、 Introduction to CB certification

CB Scheme is an international certification system established by the organization for conformity testing and certification of electrical products (IECEE) of the International Electrotechnical Commission. It aims to assist participating countries and certification institutions to establish multilateral agreements and mutually recognize their test reports. At present, this system has more than 50 member states. The national certification body (NCB) under the CB system tests your product in the laboratory that has passed the IEC audit. As long as the product meets the standards, it will issue the CB certificate and CB report document of the product; The customer can submit these documents to the national certification body (NCB) of any member state under the CB system to further apply for the national certification license of that country.

3、 Role of CB certification

1. Foreign certification certificate can be converted

If you have obtained CB test certificate and CB test report, you can directly apply for certification from other countries. The certification authority of the applicant country reviews the CB test certificate and report (including the report on national differences) (if necessary, a small number of samples shall be provided). If the review result is qualified, you can obtain the certification of the country without additional testing in accordance with the articles of association and procedural rules of the applicant country.

2. Chinese national certification certificate can be converted

Issue China national product certification report according to CB test report and difference test, so as to obtain China's compulsory or other voluntary certification certificates for electrical products.

3. Directly recognized or approved by other countries

With CB test certificate and CB test report, your products can be directly exported to some countries.

4. Save cost and time

Before applying for foreign certification, if a domestic enterprise applies for CB test certificate in China, because the test is conducted in the domestic CB testing laboratory, it not only saves a lot of costs, but also saves the turnaround time of sample delivery and document delivery. Domestic enterprises can obtain CB test certificate as soon as possible;

4、 Data to be prepared for CB certification

5. Product circuit diagram.

Remarks:

1. Relevant documents shall be in both Chinese and English.

2. in order to shorten the certification cycle, the data provided should preferably be in the form of electronic documents.

3. In the process of certification, for some special circumstances, the enterprise may need to submit other additional relevant materials.

5、 CB certification application process

The applicant may be the manufacturer or its agent / agency. The application may cover one or more factories in one or more countries manufacturing the product. Note: according to the stipulation that the applicant will be the holder of CB certificate, if the applicant is the agent of the manufacturer, the holder of CB test certificate will be the agent of the manufacturer.

The applicant shall fill in the pre application letter for CB test certificate of electrical products, including the following contents:

1. name and address of the applicant;

2. If the applicant is not a manufacturer, the name and address of the manufacturer shall be provided;

3. the name and address of the factory / factories manufacturing the product;

4. product name, specification, model and identification;

5. Registration certificate of the applicant (first application);

6. technical data of the product (if necessary);
